Lighting:
We will check the weather the day before we film our thriller opening title sequence, this is because if it is a cloudy day we will need to make sure that we turn all the lights on in the house so that the house isn't dark when we are filming. However if it is a bright day we won't need any of the lights on.
As we might being putting an effect over all the shots in editing to make the film look different and like "Film Noir". We might not have the lights on inside the house if it is a dark gloomy day, this is because we want our thriller opening title sequence to contain natural light so that it looks more realistic.
The lighting we will use in our thriller opening title sequence will be inspired by the opening sequence of the thriller film "Se7en". This is because the lighting in this opening titles show that the type of atmosphere we wish to create in our thriller opening sequence. The lighting used in this thriller opening is mostly dark, this is what we want our opening to include especially when the alter-ego is shown. However when the teenage girl is shown the lighting will be brighter and will be show in a natural light this will show a contrast between both the two different types of personalities (light and dark). We have took inspiration from "Se7en" because it uses a lot of dark lighting which creates the connotation that this is a dark film and that it could be a creepy or sinister film. This film uses natural light throughout the opening sequence this is because it makes it look more realistic, this is what we want our thriller opening sequence to contain.
