Here are the actors auditions and the results. 

 

Character Profile 

 

These actors auditioned for the chance to be the main characters in our thriller opening title sequence, as the two main characters are the same person we only need one actor to play both parts. We will be filming all of the parts that the teenage girl appear in first then we will change the actors make-up and then film all the parts that the alter-ego appears in. Each of the actors in the audition acted out the same scene from our thriller opening, however as we were filming these auditions outside and the ground was still damp from the rain we decided that we would film the actors doing the facial expressions of the alter-ego standing up. In this part of our opening titles sequence the alter-ego is sitting on the floor in the corner of the room rocking back and forth then she reveals her face. We decided that these actors would only act out the part when the alter-ego reveals her face this is because we wanted to know who did the best facial expression to be able to play this role. 

 

Kezia Smith - Kezia has had previous experience within acting as she appeared in a successful theatrical performance. Kezia is well suited to this role as she has done a good audition and she showed a lot of theatrical skills, her facial expression suited this role and character.

Alex Storey - Alex is currently studying drama and she is a good actor and she has had previous experience in acting. Alex took this audition very seriously giving a great performance, however she was not able to accept this role as she had some other commitments at this time.

Leona Bilby - Leona has had previous acting experiences, she gave a good performance however the facial expression she gave us when auditioning was just not how we had imagined the character to have. She was not confident in playing this role and was not comfortable expressing intense emotion which we wanted to see.

Claudia Wilkie - Claudia's performance wasn't very good, this shown by the her laughter at the end of her audition. We decided she wasn't suitable for this role because we wanted to make sure that person who got the role would be able to take it seriously.

Elle Abrahams - Elle gave a great performance, this is because she is in our group and she knows how we wanted this character to act and what facial expression was key for this character. Although she hasn't had any previous experience she gave us a great performance and we thought that she would suit this role well.

The actor we have decided that gets the role is Elle Abrahams this is because she gave a good performance and she was well suited to this role as she showed theatrical skills and her facial expression suited this role and the character. As Elle is in our group she knew how we wanted the different characters to act and she also knew what we wanted her to do. We did not choose Alex to act in our thriller opening sequence because she had other commitments at the time although she gave the best audition, we chose Abbie to be the actor in our thriller opening as she gave the second best audition and could participate in our thriller on the day of filming.
